[공지] [2026-2] Korean Class (Required for International Students)

Hi. I am Rachel, the assistant of KNU English Language & Literature department.
- All international students are required to complete Korean 2 or Korean 3 in order to graduate.
Please note that Korean language courses do not count toward the major credits required for graduation.
- You may enroll in Korean 2 only if you have completed Korean 1 or have been placed into Korean 2 through the placement test.
- If you have not yet completed Korean 2 or Korean 3, please read the information below carefully.
- Please make sure that the Korean class does not conflict with your major course schedule.
- Korean language courses cannot be registered through K-Cloud. To enroll, please send me an email.
Students who already took Korean Level 1:
- You don't have to take the level test. Just choose Korean Level 2 and let me know the time of the class by AUG 31st 17:00 KST. Please check the attached timetable.
Students who already took Korean 2 as an MA student or university student at KNU:
- You don't have to take the Korean class again. Just let me know by AUG 31st 17:00 KST.
Students who haven't taken any Korean class:
- The class level depends on your Korean skills. You need to take the level test. On the day of the test, go to the test location and take the exam.
- Level test days: Sept 1st and 2nd 5PM in Humanities2-108 (Choose one day)
- If you want to start with Korean 1, you don't have to take the level test. Choose the class and email me by AUG 31st 17:00 KST. Please check the attached timetable.
Students who have TOPIK level 6 or above:
- You don't have to take a Korean class. Please submit your certification by AUG 31st 17:00 KST.
